Overview
Greyhounds are often known for being friendly, non-aggressive and recognized for their quiet, gentle, and affectionate nature. They belong to a family of dogs called sighthounds, which were originally bred to hunt other animals. They are highly intelligent, sensitive, and good with other animals. Greyhounds have long, powerful, legs, deep chest, flexible spine, and a slim build. Their top speed is 70km/hour. Though they were originally bred for racing, Greyhounds now participate in other sports such as obedience and agility.
