Overview
The Lagotto Romagnolo is an ancient water retriever breed that was developed in the Romagna region of Italy. Originally used as a duck retriever, they have become specialized truffle hunters. They are durable workers of excellent sense of smell and they have waterproof coat and webbed toes that help perform well in chilly waters. They are highly energetic and social breed that become highly attached to their family.
