Old English Sheepdog
Overview
Originated in England during the 1800’s, the Old English Sheepdog was bred to assist cattlemen used to drive livestock and sheep to market. Also known as ‘The Sheepie or Bobtail’, they are intelligent, social, and adaptable family companions, who love outdoor activities. They are big dogs with a powerful herding instinct and can be quite independent, but they love their people and can be quite mellow around the house.
