Plott
Overview
The Plott is a friendly hunting dog, originally bred from North Carolina, who love the companionship of their owners. They typically weigh between 40 to 60 pounds. They are bright, kind, confident, and courageous. They are loyal to their family and somewhat wary of strangers although he usually warms up quickly to them. Plotts are characterized by their thick, brindle coat. The Plott Hound will always follow his nose, so always ensure they have a properly fenced in yard to roam around in.
