Siberian Husky

Overview

The Siberian Husky is a medium size working dog breed that originated in Northeast Asia. They have a thickly furred double coat, erect triangular ears, and distinctive markings. They have high energy and intellect, and a natural instinct to roam and explore. Their blue or multi-colored eyes and striking facial masks only add to their beauty. It is easy to see why many are drawn to the Siberian’s wolf-like looks, but be aware that this athletic, intelligent dog can be independent and challenging for first-time dog owners. Siberians can have blue eyes, brown eyes, eyes that are a little of both, or one of each color. They are naturally suited to cooler climates.
