St. Bernard
Overview
St. Bernard’s are a giant, strong, muscular dog originally from the western Alps in Italy and Switzerland. They typically weigh between 120 to 180 pounds and have either a rough or smooth coat, that comes in various combinations of colours and markings. They are friendly, welcoming, and very caring of small children. They love attention but aren't as demanding of it as some breeds- despite their large size, they do not require a high amount of exercise, and are quite satisfied curling up on the couch.
